How many metres of fabric should I buy?
When I started to learn how to sew, this part has always been very confusing for me. I will always buy extra because, you know — * just in case *
however this is not always the option, especially if the fabric I wanted do not have more than what I had estimated(when I do not NEED an extra metre) and you will always be left with excess fabric.
I mean, you do not want to spend more than you should, right?
Especially if your fabric is 100% silk or linen or other more high-end fabrics and the cost per meter/yard can be $70 or more!
